The History

The Fauno Bar was constructed in 1950 and is considered one of the most important meeting points in Sorrento by both the local residents and tourists alike.
 
The Fauno is modern, cosmopolitan and welcoming and over the years has continued to host many of the areas most important social events.  It is constantly dedicated to the attention to detail, and maintaining the standard that has come to be expected from this most unique bar.
 
The style of the bar includes vibrantly coloured mosaics and paneling depicting the "Mount Vesuvius" and the famous coastline of Sorrento, created using the antique craftsmanship of the school of Spilimbergo. Whilst the sculptured ceilings are illuminated by beautiful hand-blown Merano Glass.
